I did it! I reached 250 followers! I completely missed gaining 200 followers while I was out of the country, so I thought I’d hold on for the big 2-5-0 to celebrate, and you beautiful people did it just in time for another amazing milestone: my one year blog anniversary 😀
Happy birthday to me!
Yes, I started blogging on September the 5th, 2012, and although I didn’t really pick things up and get into it until February, nevertheless it’s my blogiversary!
Thank you to each and every one of you who’s helped me discover just what a wonderful experience blogging is. I’m so grateful that so many of you have taken the time to read my ramblings – here’s to many more years!
So, I thought I’d let you guys celebrate a little bit too! You know how when you were a kid you’d bring sweets into class to share on your birthday? Well I’m doing the same, but with beauty things!
How cool is that little lot? I told you I had something special planned for that other candle in the parcel. JewelCandle were kind enough to send me a Happy Birthday candle to celebrate my blogiversary, and I thought it would be great to share the love! This is the larger size of candle, containing a ring worth up to £250 – and to top it all off, it smells divine. Birthday cake and vanilla, mmm. I wish I could keep this one for myself!
I’ve also added two of my favourite little beauty bits into the prize – the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey, a soft pink that suits most skin tones, and Lush’s Vanillary perfume. Vanillary is the sweetest, comfiest, warmest vanilla scent I’ve ever smelled, and I never fail to get compliments when I wear it – plus it matches the candle! And, well, you all know how much I rave about the JBK Balm Stains… This is probably the one that gets most worn, as it’s such an easy daytime lip.
(The two beauty products pictured are actually my own – I haven’t had a chance to get to the shops to get new ones for you yet! So don’t worry about any marks in the picture.)
NOW THE IMPORTANT BIT.
This giveaway is open to the UK ONLY. It’s going to be a way heavy package, and I can’t afford to be posting heavy stuff all the way around the world. I’m really sorry, international followers – soon, I promise, I’ll be able to afford it!
Also, I know that Rafflecopter doesn’t work too well on WordPress, but it seems to be the easiest way to do this – let me know if there are any issues accessing the widget via this link:
And…. that’s all!
Good luck, and thanks for all the fish (follows)!
Happy Birthday to your Blog! and towards all the years to come 😀

Great giveaway, congrats on the birthday and hitting 250! My favorite birthday was when my husband took me to Thermae Spa in Bath and finished off the day with dinner at the Jamie Oliver restaurant. x
Aww, that sounds amazing! I’ve always wanted to go to the Thermae Spa! 🙂
What a brilliant giveaway, I’ve been clicking around on the jewel candle website since you mentioned them in your last post… My favourite birthday was definitely my last (21st), my fiancé and I went to see my family in Germany!
Congratulations! My favourite birthday was last year, I was at work at Lush during the day then for the evening my boyfriend and I had chinese food and watched a studio Ghibli film (bit of a culture clash there, but I loved it!) 🙂
Sounds like a lovely relaxed day 🙂 Good luck!
This is such a lovely giveaway 🙂 Happy Blog Birthday and congratulations on your milestones!

happy blog birthday, my fav birthday had to be my sixteenth with a surprise party.
Thank you! I’ve never had a surprise party – how did they trick you? 🙂

What a lovely giveaway! My favourite birthday was my 23rd, I was sent a box full of origami cranes with a orgami crane necklace in amongst them. I cried! It was a day full of family and friends which is all I ever want :).
Xx
Oh my gosh, that is the sweetest thing! I do love your crane necklace 🙂
My favourite birthday is each and every one of my daughters – mine fade into insignificance now I’m a mum 🙂
Oh, that’s so sweet! 🙂 Good luck 🙂
Happy Birthday ! Lovely blog you have. My favourite birthdays are my nieces and nephews. I have no children so they are like my kids. Their smiles really keep me going when I am sad I just look at their pictures . I don’t really like by birthday but I absolutely love spoiling them !
That’s really sweet 🙂 I’m a big fan of kids’ birthdays, they just seem to have a lot more magic than adult birthdays! 🙂
This is such a great idea! Lovely blog! Jess xx

Thank you! Sometimes the small birthdays can be the nicest 🙂 Good luck!
My favorite birthday was when I was really little and my whole class from primary school came over 🙂
My favourite birthday was my 21st. I was still at Cambridge so a big bunch of us, including my parents, all went to college formal together, followed by lots of Champagne and cake afterwards!
