I’ve recently been making the effort to use all the freebies I picked up with magazines over the summer, and in doing so I’ve discovered some new wonder products. I’m particularly impressed with the offerings from Balance Me – after crushing on their packaging for ages, I’ve realised that they actually have very impressive products inside!
From a good-for-you point of view, Balance Me’s credentials are great. Just look at the list of nasties they’ve managed to get rid of from this shower gel!
Even after having taken out all these things, they’ve somehow managed to create a shower gel with a great lather, which doesn’t leave your skin dry, and most importantly for me, with a great smell. The bergamot and geranium in this make a really deep, fresh scent that puts me in mind of a more grown-up Lush Happy Hippy – it’s citrussy, but there’s something more than that in there, a hint of spice and warmth that makes this a really lovely shower gel for a cold morning. I do think it’s a bit pricey for what it is (£10.25 for 260ml), but I suppose it’s on a par with Lush pricing, so if you’re a person who doesn’t mind splashing out on body wash, then I would definitely recommend this.
Have you tried anything from Balance Me? What’s your favourite shower gel?
Good review! I haven’t tried anything from Balance Me yet. Yes, it looks like they do have good credentials. 🙂
I’m very impressed with their list of ingredients! Worth checking out if you can get somewhere to sniff them 🙂
I’ve never tried any Balance Me products, but I do know what brand I’ll be trying the next time I’m in the UK! 🙂
Hee! They’re expensive, but gosh are they nice 🙂
Mmm, that sounds lovely! I’m still working my way through my birthday Rose Jam from LUSH (which I think I picked up based on one of your posts!).
Ohh, Rose Jam. I’m using mine only for special occasions, even though I bought the massive bottle 😛
I bought two of these when Glamour had them as freebies. I loved it. It smelt luxurious with out being sickly sweet & I found it hydrated my skin too. I am tempted to buy the full size

I think you should (but I’m a bad influence)! I’m kicking myself for not picking up more copies, you had the right idea!
