I love the hot pink and gold design of this perfume! I think it looks very over-the-top and decadent – a little more playful than the muted pinky-red of the original perfume, especially with that huge bite taken out of it…
The newest offering from Nina Ricci is a very sweet floral gourmand scent – it was created with Ladurée, with a ‘macaron heart’. I get a lot of raspberry, rose and vanilla from this, with a powdery undertone reminiscent of Guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noire, which I really love. There’s a bit of a similarity to the original Nina, which keeps it light and floral, but the sugary sweet scent of La Tentation de Nina is going to make this a spring staple for me.
On the practical side, this lasts about six hours on my skin, and it has pretty reasonable sillage – just enough to make you good enough to eat!
Does La Tentation de Nina tempt you? What’s your favourite spring scent?
