About / Contact

Hi! I’m Asha, a 22 year old final year Classics student at Oxford University, and self-confessed bookworm.

The Oxford Owl is my adventure into the world of fashion and beauty, with occasional peeks at what I’m up to and what I’m reading! It’s taken me a long time to find my personal style (god, the eyeliner phase!) and I love finding new ideas through blogging. When I’m not taking endless pictures of pretty bath bombs, you can find me tucked up with a good book, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or out on an adventure with my boyfriend.

I post something new everyday, so come and say hello!

  2. You have the same name as my sister! So cool. I love your blog, I’m doing classics for GCSE and definitely considering it at a-level. Do you think it’s a good course? 🙂 x

    • Oh, awesome! I’ve never actually met another Asha, but I know people who know them 😛 I didn’t take any Classics or Ancient History or anything at GCSE or A Level, it wasn’t offered at my school – so I can’t comment! I do know that I find it all fascinating, and read a lot about Roman History (and taught myself Latin) on my own while in KS4/5, so if you find it interesting generally, then you’ll probably enjoy the course 🙂

  3. I saw you liked a post on my blog, and I followed you because I really enjoyed reading your blog. Also, I’m coming studying in Oxford this September (that’s Oxford Brookes though) but I can’t wait to live there. Know any good restaurants? haha x

    • Thank you, that’s really sweet 🙂 I’m so jealous of you getting to start living in Oxford, it’s an amazing place 🙂 Send me an email, I’ll be happy to chat about some of my favourite things to do! 🙂

  4. Hi Asha. I lived in Oxford for many years. Please could you remind me where the walled footpath is for your Outfit Of The Day 30th March 2014? Seems very familiar but can’t place it. (My own favourite walk was across Port Meadow to the little church in Binsey Village)

    Many thanks and Merry Christmas!

Say hello - it'll make my day!
