I’m a little bit in love with my college bathroom – it’s big, airy and full of light. If you ignore the building site just outside the window, this is a gorgeous little haven for bathing. I really lucked out with my room this year! Want to see how I organise?
This is a product I’ve had for a long while, but I never got around to reviewing it. It would be too much of a shame not to show it to you, because it’s simply one of the prettiest things in my make up bag!
Yes, kids, Christmas at Lush is finally over… With their traditional half-price sale on at Boxing Day, the last few Christmas products have been swept from the shelves, and we’re all left either revelling in our Christmas arrivals or lamenting products never to be seen again.
My stash of Lush products has been seriously augmented in the last week or so, both by Christmas present from lovely people, and by a bit of sneaky ordering of my own…
Term is over, hurrah!
Unfortunately, it finished a week after I’d done my empties post, and as I’ve said before (in my extra September empties), I think it’s really silly to move house with rubbish. Empties, however, don’t fall into neat monthly time-zones, and I had several things on their last legs while I was doing my post – so here are a couple more things I’ve used up since the end of November!

I’ve been making a real effort to use up my stash of beauty products recently – I’d love to be a bit more minimalist, and certainly not to have a great big storage box of toiletries taking up space! I’ve gotten on really well (you can see my ridiculous number of empties from last month!), but there’s been a few products that just seem to be endless! I recently picked up this travel-sized tube of This Works Daily Boost Body Scrub with RED magazine. This Works is a brand I’ve wanted to try for a long time, and I’ll admit, it’s largely due to the lovely minimalist packaging and the descriptions of the scents, which all sound very luxurious. This scrub says it contains grapefruit and rosemary to stimulate, and tourmaline (the precious stone) to improve blood flow. All very fancy. On using this, I found that there’s one big pro and one big con, so: Continue reading
