Well, I have a new favourite soap. Continue reading
A little while ago, I won a giveaway over on Luchessa’s blog! I love Luchessa, she is one of the sweetest bloggers I know and has always been so supportive and friendly – plus her posts are really fun to read. Anyway, she hosted a giveaway a little while ago, and I won! I asked her to send it to my Oxford address, and I was so excited to pick up my parcel when term started…
And with good reason!
I recently managed to get a sample of the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask through a recycling scheme my mum joined, which gives you treats for recycling… Or something… I don’t really know how it works, but I know I jumped when she offered me the voucher for this! This mask is a bit of a cult blogger favourite, and I was so excited to try it – luckily, it lived up to all the hype and every one of my expectations. Continue reading
Okay, so nothing from Lush is particularly essential, but these are the products that I’m reaching for more and more as the year, sunlight, and warmth slip away to autumn. Don’t get me wrong, I love autumn, and I love switching up my skincare and toiletries to accommodate things – so here are my favourite Lush autumn products.
(Quick disclaimer – I haven’t bought anything from the Halloween or Christmas collections, so that’s not what I mean by autumn products. Don’t fear, there’ll be a massive Limited Edition haul sometime next week, I’m sure!) Continue reading
I had to have this shampoo and conditioner scent as soon as I heard about it – I’m a big Herbal Essences fan, and a big honey fan, and my hair is still very damaged from two-year-old bleach. This couldn’t be more made for me, and I have not been disappointed. I love Bee Strong!
I can’t believe it’s Week 6 of the Starting Off Project already! Check out my posts on skincare, concealer, foundation and blush by clicking on the one you want to see. This week, we’re discussing mascara, a subject very close to my heart, so let’s get going!
Mascara was probably the first item of make up I ever used besides little-kid glitter. In my early teens, I had a brown-black Natural Collection mascara that did absolutely zilch to my lashes, but made me feel really made up. Since then, I’ve moved on to slightly more dramatic lash looks, but I’m still searching for the perfect mascara. This little post will mostly only focus on black, everyday mascara, since I have no experience with coloured mascaras, clear mascaras, lash primers, false lashes or anything beyond a little bit of a boost to my lashes. I… seem to have quite a few lip balms.
